Counting, counting and still counting...

I can neither remember nor recall what I wrote on in my last entry of my blog. Oh my, it's been awhile... Well, I find that it's very hard for my mind to work on something promising rather than just doing the daily given tasks - which has also resulted in the difficulties of speaking my thoughts.

Surprisingly, this year is nearing its end. We have a few days to go before wishing everyone "Happy New Year". Mind you, I'm not gonna dwell you on my new year's resolutions, I'd never believe in that. This post is only to highlight on a few important events/incidents that happened this year throughout:

Married to the man I love Muhammad Fariz Tajuddin.

I've lost one of the VVIPs of my life; my grandpa. Al-fatihah.

My uncle who was bedridden for months long. He has now fully recovered.

Met with an accident on our way to work.

We've moved-in to a new home! That means, living on our own.

...but it doesn't stop just yet!

There are a few more coming...these are to be highlighted too!

Someone's birthday is coming right up. Surprise! My hubby will be celebrating his twenty-sixth birthday this Saturday and I'm looking forward to having a sort of celebration *grin* Na'ah, a date sounds better.

December 23

It'll be my last day working at IBM Malaysia. I'm leaving to pursue a better future and even a promising career.

December 27

I have to be sure that there'll be no more second thought. Please tell me that this is what I'm good at. Puh-lease!

Happy Seventh-Monthsary

This is to update my existing entry that is waiting to be published. Sorry I didn't have much time to think on what I would write on as I was so caught up with my career, family, and life. I do admit that we need to have GENUINE ideas on what to write unless we will bore off our readers reading on a piece of SHIT Before I start to narrate bout our happily-married-love-life, I'd like to take this single opportunity to wish my beloved hubby:

Happy Seventh-Monthsary

We've been happily married for seven months and still counting to our first anniversary which will be in another few months to come. Please know that I am still in the learning process towards becoming the most parfait wife in your eyes. You've been such a loving husband to me.

OK, let's move on to what-to-be-unfold. This is somewhat hilarious, I don't know how you readers might find this. I deserved to be laughed by YOU! Trust me, you'll say "Eh bodoh nya minah ni". OK, here it goes...

I used to day-dream of a smartphone, I'd made myself promised that one day, I'll be using a smartphone no matter how. I had been using E63, which I know, is considered as a smartphone too. (You'll read 'smartphone'  throughout this entire writing, trust me!) So when I was about to get my bonus, I told my husband that I'm gonna get myself a new phone. After he did some research and readings, he agreed that I should get a Samsung. I didn't get myself an Iphone, mind you, it's way off my budget. It costs me a fortune of my salary + bonus though I'd been dreading for it. It's just my luck when Celcom was having a promotion on Samsung smartphones.

Here goes the story...

I chose to get the Samsung Galaxy SL that operates on Android. It is indeed a real fun. I'm so happy I finally made a right choice. My phone and I is inseparable. Well, thanks to my hubby, he's been a great teacher as I wasn't an IT savvy. The thing that I love most is the wide screen. It took me some times to get used to the touchscreen. Even now, people can still spot some typos! My fingers are so fat, I guess! *rofl*

Bear in mind, this is not to provide you with any reviews of my phone. It has been some times since I last installed a new live wallpaper. I stumbled across this cute live wallpaper when I was browsing the Android Market - FooCat Notes Live. I fell in love with it right away plus with the idea of having a cat loitering around your screen. It comes in handy when you have to note something. The cat will write out what you want it to remember, instantly. You can even talk to the cat. The cat is very sensitive to commands.

It comes with simple instructions on how to run this wallpaper.
What does excite me to the max is, when you can customize it to your wants.
You can even choose your own cat.
Look what it's doing!

This idea came to me in a blink when I saw my husband sleeping soundly after a very tiring day. He was snoring so loud (sorry Sayang, gotta tell the world) Thus, I asked my cat to write something on my screen, hoping that he'll wake up in the middle of the night and read it. Yeah, I was trying so hard to be sweet, I couldn't help myself from giggling when I came to remember bout this.

Eventually, he did wake up in the middle of the night to answer the nature's call. He read the note that my cat scribbled on the screen... and he wrote back in reply! He managed to put a smile on my face the very next morning I woke up. He'd been a hopeless romantic.

Thus, when I got to my office, I started thinking of how to 'screen-capture'. Too bad I forgot to bring the manuals. I Googled it, instead. Can't believe that 'screen-capture' would be that easy-peasy, you wouldn't believe how stupid I felt for not knowing it! Grrr...I feel like eating myself *gnom gnom gnom*

Whatcha need to do to:

Hold the 'Back' button and press the 'Home' button simultaneously till you hear a shutter sound.

A Happy Birthday to Me

Hello there! I had a very 'great' weekend, yeah, great as in Q-ing up for my hubby's latest and trendiest gadget in-town which was up for grab at only RM999 - Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Maaf, ini bukan iklan) SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1. For real??? Yeah, FOR REAL. We never thought of having the courage to get up as early as 7 in the morning, over the WEEKEND (need to capitalize as to stress that it is such a big NO NO that we could get up that early over the weekend) but surprisingly, my hubby managed to get up so early (though we missed the sahur) he woke me up rite away and asked me to get up to my feet to get ready *lol* Well, he did give me options; whether I wanted to tag along or to stay put in the bed, leaving me behind. It was such an ad-hoc thingy. My hubby even thought of not going the other night. Alhamdulilah, we managed to be the 232 out of the eligible 300 customers. It wasn't that bad, huh? Seeing the huge crowd, lining up in such a long stretch made my heart trembled. We even thought of leaving.

Q-ing up in such early morning. The very first person  was said to be there  from  the night before.
Can you just imagine? It's crazy!
A happy face, before the long wait.
Look at ze people! Ramai kan???
Finally... Urghhh! I swear to myself I'll never go to this kind of event
unless they 're giving it for free.
... and here it is!
Love this to bits!
We waited up to 5.32 p.m. before we managed to collect our stuff. Everyone was so 'lemau'. Too bad, the event organizer that had been appointed  by Samsung was not that efficient to man such a big event. Thumbs down! It was so chaotic and hay-wired. No point blab-erring on this, we've got our stuff and it's so worth-waiting. My hubby is now so jakun with his new toy, they are inseparable @_@

After that long day on Saturday, we decided not to go anywhere near Damansara on that Sunday. Oh gosh, the traffic is unbearable even on weekdays. Will need to brave the congested traffic every single day I got back from work. So can you just imagine when it is on the weekend? We would rather stay at home doing nothing, matter-of-factly but we couldn't bear the boredom! We snoozed for about an hour or two, we got up just to know that we have to grab something for our niece for her birthday.

At last, we made a decision to go to OU! We longed to have this hooded sweater from Nike as it is PINK in colour and it has glitters all over. Thus, it's good to have it as the birthday present. OU was totally jam-packed with people, we took almost half an hour to find ourselves a parking space. Oh, before I forgot, we did ask this little girl (niece) on what she wants for her birthday. She seemed to have so many things in her mind, she couldn't even decide and my hubby had came out with this suggestion so she has to prepare a wishlist *lol* We'd gone crazy whilst making the right decision on what to buy for her.  As far as we know, she is a big fan of Girls but we didn't manage to get her anything because she has got almost everything from the store (as what her mummy said) Plus, it's one of the biggest problem for Aunty Nina and Ampa to decide as everything is so colourful, super-duper cute and glittery. Fret of making a wrong choice, we decided to grab the Nike sweater. Thank God she seems to love it!

Oh my, talking bout BIRTHDAY, I almost forgot that last Wednesday was my birthday. It was nothing close to any celebration. My hubby bought me a pair of boot-cut jeans from Miss Sixty as my birthday present. Love it to bits. There was no makan-makan as now is Ramadan and it's pretty tiring to call and make the reservation. On top of that, I will never forget these three things happened on my birthday:
  • My dad used to forget my birthday. It seemed pretty hard for him to remember these important dates in his life i.e. his wedding anniversary or our birthdays. Mama will always need to remind him for most of the times, when it comes to any special dates. Surprisingly, he called me on the afternoon, I was on my way to fetch my hubby and I was driving. Assuming that he might forget, he suddenly blasted out with "Happy Birthday" It brought tears to my eyes. It came to my mind that he recorded a sound clip with him singing the birthday song for my last year's birthday. Ain't my dad cool?
  • Due to my birthday, my husband made himself promise that he'll treat me like a princess throughout the day. It's too good to be true! *lol*
  • Whilst preparing myself to sleep, someone came knocking at my door. I was presented with two hand-written-last-minute birthday cards made by my niece, nephew and lil' cousin. I was so glad to receive these two cards. Aren't they just cute?
Look at her handwriting. Super neat!
Yours sincerely? Hakim's and Danial's (right) Arissa's (left)
I'm so touched!
Eh...ni from everyone pulak.
A remembrance.
Impressive. Oops! 7 Ogos/7 Ramadan?
I don't know what are these, until they pointed it out.
It's a rabbit/frog look-alike and a shapeless-boyish butterfly.

Hello Thailand!

Bila saya sebut Thailand, what is the first thing that came across your mind? Adakah...

A. Shopping heaven

ATAU

B. Cuaca yang sangat terik

ATAU

C. Pulut ayam/mempelam

ATAU

D. Perempuan cantik dalam inverted commas.

Tolong jangan ngelat! Kalau ditanyakan soalan ini kepada boys, sudah pasti ada buble atas kepala ada huruf D besar2 dengan mentol menyala "ting". Tehee. Jangan tipu! Kalau ditanyakan yang perempuan, mata dah juling xsabar nak shopping. Itupun baru tanya soalan. Belom sampai sana lagi!

Bila dengar je nak ke Hatyai, my hubby dah terloncat2 (over exaggerated, sorry hubby!) Seronok betol dia. Maklum la, itu pertama kali atau mungkin dia ada ulterior motive? *angkat2 kening* Kan sayang? See, I could see yang you akan tersenyum when you read this. Catch u honey! Actually I wrote this entry setelah sekian lama tapi I didn't have much time to upload the pics. Maka sudah lamalah entry ini berehat didalam 'pending' list. Nak je publish without all the pics, tapi xbesh lah nanti!

There are a lot of places yang bisa buat korang gila. Cume for those yang agak particular pasal cleanliness, you should bring your own food i.e. Maggi mee kalau risau terkena diarrhea dan mineral water yang bergelen2 sebab air kosong kat sana rasa payau semacam dan air manis derang bisa buat kamu terkena kencing manis. For this particular entry, I nak cerita sket2 je sebab kalau cerita banyak macam mana pon, bukan ada sape nak baca blog neh *ayat nak sedih je* because this would be some sort of a teaser. If you wanna know more, cepat2 buat passport/border pass untuk kesana. The journey x lah jauh sangat. It takes you about 1hour +/- (depending on the traffic) for you to reach Hatyai. Dan korang boleh discover punya lah!

Accomodation sangat murah. We went there with my aunty yang sporting morting. She has been to Hatyai for a zillion time. She's really well-versed with all the jalan in Hatyai. Adalah wajib untuk korang dapatkan map atau bawa GPS sebab semua signboards kat Hatyai susah sangat to comprehend. Everything is written in Thai, the only comprehensible signage yang ktorang boleh baca is "Turn Left With Care" Kiranya kalau kat Malaysia, sama dengan "Beri Laluan" lah! *LOL* Jalan2 kat sana agak confusing jugak lah. Sebab dia lorong2. Kalau missed satu lorong je, dah kena buat pusingan U. Kena hati2 jugak sebab orang2 Siam neh bawak motor/kete macam tutt! Cadangan saya, all the signboards kat Hatyai kena di 'enlarge' sket kot. Comel sangat signboard sampai xnampak langsung. Kalau malam lagi lah!

Kalau nak tahu, Hatyai baru pulih dari banjir. Kawasan dia sangat rendah, kiranya kalau hujan lebat sket je, bisa dinaiki air. Jadi, jangan lah gi sana musim banjir. Cuaca kat sana memang sangat terik di tengahari. Malam memang sejuk dan breezy. Memang sedap lah kalau makan pulut mempelam sambil2 ditiup angin sepoi bersepoi. Kalau kena musim hujan, xseronoklah kalau nak ke Hatyai kan? Macam mana pulak nak jenjalan.

Orang sana xbegitu memahami Bahasa Melayu jauh sekali Bahasa Inggeris. Ada waktu kami ke Tesco, my hubby carilah kedai yang ada jual rokok. Bila tanya, semua orang xbagi apa2 respons pon tapi satu Tesco hanya mampu menoleh towards him. Semua looked blurry. Kesian...neh rasa nak bukak pusat tuisyen kt sana neh. Kayo den! Tehee. Tapi bila hubby letak dua jari bentuk V kat mulut, barulah derang "Ooooo..." See, ada communication breakdown disitu. Kalau boleh, silalah bawak buku "How to speak Thai 101" untuk membantu. Bukan nak suruh belaja sampai fluent tapi macam mana kalau ada apa2 yang terjadi. Macam mana nak minta tolong dengan orang sana? Cuba bayangkan...

Adalah disarankan, (benda neh xperlu diberitahu kots) belilah sim card disana sebab itu bakal membantu kalau2 korang tersesat. Contohnya, kalau pergi dalam a big group. Bab mencari makanan kat sana memang xsusah mana, serupa macam nak cari ehem...ehem... cuma you have to take into consideration; kebersihan tempat tersebut. Saya mampu saja makan dimana2. It depends sebenarnya. Ada juga yang tahap kebersihan yang made u say "Isk..isk..isk.." sambil geleng2 kepala. For me, it's just normal. Mana2 pon ada scenario yang sama. Unless you're willing to spend on hotel food or untuk dine-in kat restoran2 yang mahal yang terjamin kebersihannya.

Untuk lebih pemahaman, sila rujuk gambar dibawah. Pfft! Tengoklah, muka dah merah menyala sebab sun-burn.

People are queuing up to get the passport stamped.
They have Water View Restaurant that is so captivating.
You'll be seated in a verandah-like place. Your order will be sent by a boat.  Cool huh? Too bad  we didn't have our lunch here *tears*
Well, in some other places, you'll find people busking for money. In Thailand, you can see people take a walk with the elephant and they will offer us some fruits so we can feed their Dumbo. But don't forget, it's not free!
Jangan jelous. We've been to the floating market.
It's from Mr. Hubby. Thank you sayang! ILU.

My Promises

Alhamdulilah, I am officially Mrs. Muhammad Fariz. Thank God everything went so well. Dengan sekali lafaz, diriku sudah dimiliki oleh suami tercinta. People are asking, when is the reception but frankly speaking, it's way to far. Memang kami belom ada date sebab bagi saya, a wedding reception requires thousand and thousand   dollar. Instead of spending on your wedding reception, why don't you spend that amount on vacation. Bet it's more than enough if you were planning to shop in Paris.

Saya menulis kali neh bukan sebab dah lama saya xmencoret apa2 di blog sendiri, tapi saya menulis sebab nak tell out the world how I feel from the moment I became his wife. You're my destiny. I'm all over the moon. So this entry is written so I could promise myself I will do everything (as stated) tanpa ada sebarang bunyi atau keluhan:

  1. Solat 5 waktu. Ajak ehem ehem semayang sekali. Tapi bila dia tau dia akan jadi iman, terus cepat2 dia solat.
  2. Saving up sebab dah janji dengan my hubby nak bawak dia gi HK Disneyland. Boleh ke?
  3. Learn how to cook number of dishes sebab hanya tahu masak sambal udang petai, sambal sotong, sambal belacan, ikan goreng, tomyam, ikan shetim, ikan 3 rasa (acececeh...) dan sayur sos tiram. Banyak jugak yang saya tahu!
  4. Bangun seawal 6.00 AM. tolong my MIL untuk prepare breakfast. Tapi selalunya terbabas sampai pukol 7.00 AM gitu gara2 snooooze.
Kalau abang
  7. Cium tangan ehem ehem lepas solat dan sebelum dan waktu balik kerja.
  8. Beli ehem ehem beskal yang dia hajati dan...hadiahkan macam mana Exibit buat surprise "Pimp My Ride"
  9. Mencantikkan diri. Bersolek untuk suami tercinta supaya dia lebih sayang.
  10. Jangan degil sebab anak sulung hati macam batu.
  11. Rajin2 bersenam supaya dia xlagi ejek perut buncit.
  12. Elakkan membebel waktu suami penat. Tapi nak buat macam mana kalau suami dah memang habit letak barang rata2.
  13. Hidangkan air macam dalam drama2 dalam TV bila dia sampai rumah. Paksa dia buat bunyi "slurpppp" macam pelakon2 tu buat.
Lagi???

*garu-garu kepala*
